Every year the Mormon Battalion selects a few San Diego veterans to honor for Flag Day. This is a great patriotic event. It is at 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 15th on the back lawn of the Mormon Battalion Historic Site. The Marine Band from MCRD will be performing. There will be a cake cutting ceremony. Cake and ice cream will be served inside the Mormon Battalion with displays about each of the honorees. The Mormon Battalion tours will also be available.
