The 4-Phases of a Disaster:

  1. Preparedness: (pets and people).

  2. Mitigation: (fire prevention and home hardening).

3) Response: (evacuation planning and the new GenasysEvac Map).

4) Recovery: (local assistance centers and the recovery process).

This presentation is intended to help rural community residents become disaster confident and resilient. This training will prepare residents with the knowledge to help themselves, their families, friends, and neighbors prepare for and navigate through the four (4) phases of a disaster. Each attendee will receive personal disaster plan books to start their preparedness journey.
