Global Youth Service Month

Youth Service America is an international organization calling for "young people to devote time to serve their communities." We desire each stake and ward to organize and respond to this call to serve. We desire our youth to join young people in more than 100 countries to participate in these days of service. Rendering such service is consistent with the North America West Area goal of strengthening the rising generation by "encouraging giving service."

Service teaches youth the joy of living the gospel when they bless the lives of others and pursue their sacred purpose. They will feel the love of the Good Shepherd. Offering service helps youth develop Christlike attributes. By serving people in need in the community, youth learn to act in His name, serve with His power, and bless with His love.

Thank you for your help in inspiring our youth to serve - in April and throughout their lives. We love you and are grateful for your consecrated service to the Lord and the rising generation.
